The convergence of wireless and wired networks is becoming more important. In the near future one effective and universally available solution will be the Bluetooth system. This paper presents a novel antenna solution for the Bluetooth access point in which the antenna is aimed to the access point or printer or similar device in the Bluetooth neighborhood. By using this smart antenna solution in the Bluetooth pico cell it will provide minimal interference for other Bluetooth devices in the same room and enable maximum data transfer capability. An analytical solution for the radiation pattern, beamforming and the control network are also presented and discussed
