To model the angle dependence of scattered fields from complex targets, after a comparative study, it is shown that the proposed TDFT method is quite simple and time saving under similar compression ratio and reconstruction error. The extension of the proposed method to two-dimensional or three-dimensional RCS data compression is straightforward.
