The multiple object tracking radar was put in operation in November, 1999. As one of the important radar subsystems, the phased array antenna system displayed good tactical properties and featured a high antenna gain and low cross-polarization (antenna efficiency /spl ges/31%, circular polarization axial ratio <1 dB). Its one-degree pencil beam can be positioned with high accuracy to any point within the array's cone scan coverage. Some important antenna parameters are listed.
