Some closed formulas that express the contribution of each generator to the power flows, loads and losses in a power system are introduced. The derivation of the formulas is based on the sensitivity and corrective action analysis of the system. The applicability of the proposed formulas is demonstrated using various test systems and they are compared with other state-of-the-art methods. Also these formulas are tested on a practical system to relieve transmission congestion problems and calculate the use-of-transmission system charges
