An efficient iterative decoding stop criterion is proposed that can reduce the delay and computation time. The proposed preset method is based on the SNR estimation and stop criterion concept. It uses adaptation of the maximum iteration number according to the CSI (channel state information) and the criterion of the delta variance parameter in the decoding process
