We propose a network model to efficiently manage intelligent network (IN) services in a mobile network through an integration model of the service control point (SCP) and home location register (HLR). To manage IN services in the integration model, we propose an IN service management method using the visitor location register (VLR) and analyze the performance of IN service management. This method shows that the load of the SCP/HLR is decreased and our method is better than IMT-2000 with regard to IN service management
