An effective algorithm based on the affine projection (AF) algorithm for high-frequency adaptive applications has been proposed. The efficiency of the algorithm can be improved by using mixed digital-analog realization of adaptive FIR filters. Switched capacitor and current mode processing of sampled data is an attractive signal processing method. Among the main features deciding on the method attractiveness, the ability to operate at high frequencies and with low power supply is very important. An additional advantage is the simplicity of implementing various mathematical operations, such as summation, inversion and multiplication. Additionally, the switched current circuits can be easily manufactured in standard CMOS processes. Owing to the above advantages the current mode techniques are commonly used in discrete-time analog signal processing, neural networks, A/D and D/A conversion
