The purpose of this paper is to analyze in detail the quasi-ZVS behavior of the main switches and the commutation behavior of the synchronous rectifier switches in a novel soft-switching DC-DC converter with high efficiency by using equivalent circuits. The proposed converter is composed of boost and half-bridge circuits with wide input voltage range and low output voltage. As a result of analysis, one can optimize the converter and realize very high efficiency of 93.1% at 48 V DC input and 3.3 V/15 A DC output
