This article proposes a new robust adaptive control algorithm from applied point of view which can be applied to active suspension. Its stability is proved and simulated in disturbed system. Firstly, a nonlinear filter is introduced. It simplifies the control law design. Secondly, the analysis of VSC (variable structure control) is used in backstepping controller design.
