Since the basic Petri net does not have the ability to describe time quantity, this paper introduces several types of time Petri nets and adopts timed Petri net and stochastic Petri net to develop the model for the communication protocol analysis. The two methods are obtained and their performance of field communication protocol are validated using a practical temperature control system
