An adaptive neural network vector quantization algorithm and its implementation based on TMS320C30 in color image coding

In this paper, an adaptive neural network vector quantization algorithm is proposed first, then using this algorithm, an implementation based on TMS320C30 processor is developed in a color image coding system. The results show a better image quality by using this algorithm and that the color image coding system is effective.
