The pulse magnetic method is used for assembling, welding, cutting and forming the details of products in various branches of industry. Pulse magnetic industrial machines were developed and produced having energy storages of 5, 10, 20, and 30 kJ, working voltages of 6, 10, and 25 kV, own frequency up to 100 kHz, and productivity of up to 400 pulse/hour. High vacuum switches, ignitrons and low vacuum switches are used in the said machines. Also used were industrial pulse magnets that could work with fields up to 40-50 T and whose design life is more than 30000 pulses with the pulse repletion rates stated above. Achieved were electrical connectors assembling of cross-sections up to 2000 mm sq., that tested to comply to existing press-made standards. Magnetic pulse welding of Cu-Al, Cu-St, and Al-St items was achieved as well, with part diameters of up to 100 mm and wall thickness up to 5 mm. The technology for pulse magnetic cut-out and perforation of items of a very elastic alloys, of thickness of about 0.2-0.3 mm and aperture of 1.5 mm were also done for industrial use.
