Advanced Internet technologies for the provision of educational and informative services

Advances in the fields of Virtual Reality, Streaming Audio and Video, Multi-user online communities and Multimedia Databases are making feasible the provision of new informative and educational services over the Internet. This study investigates the design of such services to fit the needs of a Biomedical Engineering Laboratory.
