Nowadays, mobile computing is considered of major importance to the computing industry due to the immense progress in the wireless communications domain. In this paper, we present a proxy-based architecture for improving WWW browsing in cellular networks. Proxy caches, contained in base stations, are constantly relocated to accompany the nomadic user. We propose a cache management scheme involving the relocation of full caches to the most candidate future cells but, also, percentages of the cache to less likely neighbours. Relocation is performed according to a path prediction algorithm based on a learning automaton. The simulation of the overall scheme demonstrates considerable benefits for the end user
