The paper presents a fault tolerant development system framework based on the replication technique. The system maintains several replicated objects. When the primary object fails, the backup object will take over the primary object's work to provide continuous service. Using an object oriented design (OOD) technique, the development framework can enhance software reusability. The JAVA RMI technique is also introduced; it can hide communication details and reduce the complication of communication programming. To conclude, we demonstrate our system's superiority through a brief comparison with other related works
