Reflector antennas employing a single horn dual-band feed, such as S/X, or, C/Ku, normally do not use TE/sub 21/ mode tracking. This paper describes the design and testing of a tri-band reflector antenna, which uses a single horn dual-band feed with two serially connected TE/sub 21/ mode tracking couplers, and its feed subsystem. The reflector antenna is a 5.0 meter shaped Cassegrain antenna operating in L, Ku and Ka bands. It is a receive only antenna with linear/circular switchable polarization and monopulse tracking in all three bands.
