This paper presents a new adaptive method to increase the linearity and efficiency of multicarrier power amplifiers (MCPA). The proposed scheme is based on an analog predistorter whose transfer characteristic is represented by an odd-order complex polynomial. The coefficients of predistorter are obtained by canceling the third and fifth order intermodulation distortion (IMD) products of samples of multiple channels (SMC). Computer model and simulation results show that improvements in IMD reduction largely depend on number of sample channels and peak power level
