Refuse derived fuel (RDF) is highlighted, from the viewpoint of global ecological preservation, as an effective means to decrease the amount of dioxin and CO2 discharged compared with the conventional refuse incineration system. Tokyo Gas Engineering (TGE), an affiliated company of Tokyo Gas, is engaged in research and development regarding RDF utilization technology. TGE is now implementing the proposal, design and construction of RDF utilization facilities such as electric power generation, swimming pools etc
