In this correspondence, a new 2-D lattice filter structure in the so-called delta domain, which avoids possible numerical instabilities that may occur in traditional q-domain based algorithms, has been developed. This structure has been used to implement an adaptive lattice noise canceller. Very successful results have been obtained, even under very low signal-to-noise conditions
