Use of the extended genetic algorithm to solve the modified general mixed H/sub 2//H/sub /spl infin// control problem

A modified general mixed H/sub 2//H/sub /spl infin// control problem is put forward. The problem is to find a central solution controller of H/sub /spl infin// control problem to minimize the H/sub 2/ performance. A novel optimization technique based upon generic algorithms is developed to solve this problem. An example is given for illustration.
