Dynamic Preisach model and energy dissipation in soft magnetic materials

In this paper, the energy dissipation in soft magnetic materials using the dynamic Preisach model is discussed. The main goal is the establishment of the f/sup 1.5/ law for the excess losses from this hysteresis model. By building up the energy balance of a lamination model combined with the dynamic Preisach theory, the connection with the statistical loss theory is identified.
