The U.S. and Canadian national ice centers have implemented programs to use RADARSAT data in support of sea ice operations. The present methodology for image receipt, analysis and integration with other data sets is described. The availability and accessibility of image and product archives is discussed. The present and future plans for the development and implementation of automatic information extraction algorithms are outlined
