Investigations of the influence of external magnetic field on the shape and structure of the high-voltage gas discharge used for air flow ionization to an ionization degree of up to 10⁻⁵ are presented. In the first series of experiments, the discharge current flew along magnetic field lines; and in the second series, the discharge current was transverse to the magnetic field. The discharge shape and structure at different magnetic field intensities were obtained.
