Summary form only given. We have achieved single-longitudinal mode operation of a broad-area diode laser with injection locking by a single-mode laser. Using a photorefractive double conjugate mirror, we can convert the round spatial beam pattern of the master laser to a quite narrow rectangular shape of the broad-area diode laser, and we realized quite efficient injection locking.
