Using Rb⇔K ion-exchanged channel waveguides and waveguide devices in KTP which combine a large wavelength range of single mode operation in the visible region with the capability of both electro-optic modulation and guidance of high optical power, a three-colour mixer for use in a colour image generation system is demonstrated
