We designed a system which provides the possibility to manage a multifunction information system for robotics systems via the Internet. The user of our agent can see the world through a robot's eyes and can order the system to obtain the 3D description of the robot environment. As an example application of our agent the interaction with a mobile robot information system is discussed. The agent provides a description of the scene in the field of view in terms of the landmarks for autonomous mobile robot navigation
