1-inch size Ce1%:Gd2Lu1Al2Ga3O12, Gd1Lu2Al2Ga3O12, Gd1Y2Al1.5Ga3.5O12 and Lu2Y1Al2Ga3O12 were grown by the Czhocralski (Cz) method. The EPMA techniques is employed to check their chemical composition. Luminescence and scintillation properties were also evaluated. The Ce1%: Gd1Y2Al2Ga3O12 sample showed the highest light yield of around 40 thinspace000 photon/MeV. The scintillation decay time was 46.6 ns(63%) and 157 ns(37%).
