This paper presents developments of planar active retrodirective antennas based on microstrip technology. The architectures of the retrodirective antennas described in the paper are based on dual frequency operation for transmission and reception. Results for the monostatic radar cross section (MRCS) measurement on two element retrodirective arrays based these architectures are presented and the use of the retrodirective antenna as a multipath sensor is shown
