For diversity reception with correlated Rayleigh fading signals, it is necessary to conduct computer simulation to investigate the impact of correlation and power distribution of the received signals on the system performance. This paper presents a simple method for generation of correlated Rayleigh fading signals for computer simulation. Based on a transformation technique, two uncorrelated Rayleigh fading signals can be converted into two correlated Rayleigh fading signals with desired correlation coefficient and power distribution.
