Knowing human nature well can enhance our chances in developing winning strategies that are people smart. This chapter help us achieve deftness in being People Smart by practicing the six rules. The first rule suggest that we should accept people around us by assimilating into their culture. This is the easiest way to build rapport with people around us and to be accepted. Winning by understanding both ourselves and our counterparts is the second rule. The third rule is to maintain a nonaggressive attitude even if we mean to be aggressive in pursuing our career advancement. Gaining by giving, successful networking by networking less, and being heard by listening are the other three rules discussed in the chapter.
