In this work, the Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FD-TD) Method is employed to study the characteristics of microstrip slot antenna arrays, based on the use of Berenger's perfectly matched layer (PML) boundary condition. The FD-TD method employing Berenger's PML is applied to analyse 1-, 2- and 4-slot microstrip antenna arrays. The results for the S-parameters and radiation pattern obtained from FD-TD were compared with measurement, and found to agree very well for the S-parameters
