A blind polarization demultiplexing technique is proposed and experimentally validated. Our algorithm is transparent to modulation format, pulse-shape, and sampling phase. Without resorting to Stokes parameters, it combines the versatility of the polarization alignment in Stokes space with the computational simplicity of the constant modulus algorithm.
