The 2012 IEEE Multiconference on Systems and Control (MSC) was held on October 3-5, 2012 at Dubrovnik Palace Hotel conference center in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The conference was a joint event, comprising the International Symposium on Intelligent Control (ISIC) and the Conference on Control Applications (CCA). MSC 2012 was the first conference in Croatia sponsored by the IEEE Control Systems Society (CSS). In response to the call for papers, 375 contributed and invited session papers from 47 countries on six continents were received. After a thorough and in-depth peer-review process, Program Chairs Ji Feng Zhang and Eric Rogers created a technical program with a total of 282 papers (three invited and 40 regular CCA sessions, one invited and six regular ISIC sessions, four plenary sessions, and one tutorial session). An overview of the conference and photographs of various events are also provided.
