A fiber-optic position sensor for non-contact measurement in hostile environment

In this paper we present a novel fiber-optic displacement sensor specially designed for application in hostile environment, such as cyclotron environment (strong magnetic field, high RF field, high level of radiation and vacuum), where electronics is hindered from functioning.
