Expansion in the semiconductor industry is creating a large demand for technicians. Community colleges are hard-pressed to meet this demand through existing programs and courses. This paper presents a new curriculum model for associate of applied science degree programs in semiconductor manufacturing and suggests a model for precursor programs at the high school level.
