A scorecard for technical writing

The challenge of effectively teaching writing to technical people is complicated when the instructor cannot claim familiarity with the technical subject. This paper introduces a scorecard for self, peers', and instructors' evaluations that guides technical professionals to shared standards for good writing; and describes methods for applying it to both classroom and industrial situations.
