A new calibration method for ground-based radiometer is proposed herein. In this method, the relationship between atmosphere opacity and viewing angle is used as a constraint for deriving the system calibration response. The brightness temperatures have been compared that calculated with the absorption model of Liebe's MPM and measured by the QWF-2 radiometer. The results have been improved very much by the tip curve calibration.
