In this letter, we comment on the results published in the above letter. From simulation results it is shown that the signal vector based detection (SVD) scheme does not agree very closely with the optimal detection (maximum-likelihood) scheme for spatial modulation (SM), specifically in the moderate to low bit error rate (BER) region for quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM).
