Early this year, IEEE Spectrum's office in New York City played host to a little yellow dancing bot, a Korean humanoid, and a pair of furry mechatronic seals. Those robots and others came to be photographed for a project that Spectrum is unveiling now, called Robots for iPad. It's an app that runs on any iPad model, including the new iPad mini, and it's available in Apple's App Store. Read all about it in our annual gift guide, in this issue.
