As a companion effort to the development of the Wireless Communication Engineering Technologies (WCET) certification, ComSoc also invested in the creation of a book covering much of the material that forms the basis for the WCET certification examination. To be clear, A Guide to the Wireless Engineering Body of Knowledge (WEBOK) was never intended to be a study guide for the exam or to cover every topic that might be the subject of a question on the exam. Indeed, no editor or contributing author to the WEBOK has any role in writing or selecting questions for the exam, nor is anyone involved in the creation of the exam a contributor to the WEBOK.
