The feasibility of the ferromagnetic nanowire with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy for a nanostructured Fabry-Perot type spin wave resonator has been numerically studied with micromagnetic simulations. The distinguished standing spin waves (SW) up to fifth-order demonstrates that the wire end acts as a superior reflection site for the magneto static forward volume SW. The domain wall also acts as a reflection site, and the resonance frequency can be controlled by the location of the domain wall, which can be utilized as a sensitive detection of the domain wall.
