Three types of wideband antenna are proposed for the base station antenna of mobile phone and numerically analyzed. This antenna is composed with the unbalanced fed, ultra low profile inverted L antenna on the rectangular conducting plane and the parasitic wire above the inverted L antenna. The design frequency of each antenna are 800 MHz band (810 MHz to 950 MHz), 1.5 GHz band (1,427.9 MHz to 1,525 MHz) and 2.0 GHz band (1.92 GHz to 2.17 GHz), respectively. The size and the directivity of proposed antenna for 800 MHz band are 60 mm by 200 mm by 45 mm, and 5.5 dBi to 7 dBi. Those of proposed antenna for 1.5 GHz band are 50 mm by 140 mm by 27 mm, and 7 dBi. Those of proposed antenna for 2.0 GHz band are 40 mm by 110 mm by 17 mm, and 6 dBi to 7 dBi.
