The mining of sequential pattern has a wide application. In this paper a sequential pattern mining algorithm based on data parallel (DPSP) is proposed. In order to balance the workload on each processor, a multi-processor scheduling algorithm derived from DPSP (MDPSP) is proposed together. MDPSP circularly deciles the k-candidate sequence beginning with the specific element with multi-processor scheduling algorithm. Analyses show that the algorithms in this paper are effective.
