The need for a dielectric cover is very important in waveguide slot arrays, especially in aerospace applications, mainly for protection, thermal insulation, aerodynamic purposes, or pressurization of the radiating waveguides. In this letter we evaluate the circuital properties of a waveguide longitudinal slot with multilayer dielectric cover.
