Since the 1970s Óbuda University Kandó Kálmán Faculty Institute of Automation is operating a Programmable Controls Specialization. One of the many result of the joint cooperation between students and lecturers is an educational model which allows students to learn how to develop a robot controlling software and to learn about the instruments of modern industrial automation. The development described in this paper was an award winning project of the Mitsubishi Scholarship 2009.
