With the recent technology and work done in the area of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) it's becoming an emerging technology which could be used for sensing tasks in industrial automation, personal healthcare and information systems as well. The growth of wireless networks, applications and sensors over the last few years has been tremendous. These days' consumers begin to do their business, banking even their personal healthcare through smart phone and from other devices which are connected over LANs, and WANs, hence security have become more serious then what we have imagine in the beginning. In this paper we have examine several middleware approaches which are designed for healthcare, database and different application middleware security which indicate that security is one of the main biggest concern in every technology specially in healthcare and business application. We also discuss and compare various middleware security approaches in terms of their design, target environments, and main features. This survey explains how different middleware were developed for some specific purpose and their security approaches also address only some specific requirement.
