This paper studies the dynamic impacts of fast-charging process of battery stacks in the electric vehicles (EVs) on the active distribution networks with the integration of medium-scale wind energy systems. Firstly, the fast-charging model of battery stacks is proposed for dynamic stability analysis. Secondly, the control strategies for IGBT-based AC-DC rectifier and DC-DC converter in the charging stations are designed to meet the requirements during the fast-charging process of battery stacks. Finally, the impacts on the dynamic stability of the adjacent active distribution networks as well as the integrated medium-scale wind energy systems are investigated using different simulation scenarios in this paper.
