In many universities, program design is a compulsory computer course. Because the traditional teaching mode has a certain shortcoming, so the learning interest of student is not high and the teaching effect is not good. Therefore, this paper introduced JiTT concept which appeared in the undergraduate teaching reform of United States University. Combining the features of programming, the author proposed a kind of program design teaching mode based on JiTT. This mode can break through the limitation of time and space, and both express the teacher's leading role and fully embody the student's cognitive function role. Practice has proved that the effect of the teaching mode is far better than the traditional teaching mode. It overall improved the students' programming ability and ensured the quality of teaching.
