Blade element momentum theory (BEMT) is based on an iterative process in which the axial and rotational induction factors are determined within an iteration loop. In unsteady BEMT the effect of dynamic stall on the lift coefficient is taken into account. Normally, the effect of dynamic stall on the converged values for induction factors is neglected and correction to the lift coefficient is applied after obtaining induction factors, outside the iteration loop. In this paper it is shown that this can lead to inaccurate results. This paper also proposes a method for reducing the number of iterations significantly and therefore making the integration of dynamic stall inside the iteration loop efficient.
