By adding a correlation processor in a conventional radar, target resolution power can be improved and the accuracy estimation of the target in both azimuth and range can be obtained. In this paper, some experimental results obtained by analyzing a great number of primitive target reports are shown. The azimuth estimation precision and the method used to discriminate between two adjacent targets are discussed. In addition, some statistical data for the target reports that only have a single CPI are presented
